BIBLIOTHERAPY

Bibliotherapy is defined as “a creative arts therapy that involves storytelling or the reading of specific texts” to solve issues or problems that interfere with a person’s wellbeing.
There is evidence based research showing that bibliotherapy can be very effective as a form of self-help, and it is also used for personal growth and development.
Reading and then discussing with others helps to gain alternative perspectives.
A very comprehensive article called, "How does Bibliotherapy work?" by Sara Lindberg M. Ed. is available to read HERE.
